Job Description:
We are recruiting a nurse to deliver a new treatment to patients with depression and cancer. The post is funded by Cancer Research UK. The treatment is being tested as part of a research programme run by Psychological Medicine Research, at the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
You will be part of a large research team that includes six treating nurses. The team is based in the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh and the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in Glasgow. This post is based in Glasgow.
You should be an enthusiastic registered nurse, able to manage a caseload of patients and used to working to the highest standards. As this post involves travel to different clinics, you must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
You will receive high quality training and supervision.
This post is available on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2012. (This opportunity would be suitable for a secondment, subject to agreement by the relevant parties).
