This 5 year research programme is funded by Cancer Research UK. The programme includes a large Symptom Monitoring Service for cancer outpatients and two randomised clinical trials of depression management (SMaRT oncology-2 and 3). The research is based on ten years of previous work by PMR, including the SMaRT oncology-1 trial. Our current research is being carried out in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and in the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and their associated clinics.
